- Correct ranges for each voice
- No crossing between voices
- All chord notes present in the voices
- No duplicate 3ds
- No parallel 5ths or 8ths
- Voices move as little as possible while observing the above rules

- Option to have chord inversions
- More chord options ( dim, aug ...)
- Manage dissonances

- Prefer contraty movements in external voices
